Gel Bunion Shield

Description

The Gel Bunion Shield is a soft, silicone pad that cushions and acts as a protector against shoe pressure on the feet, providing bunion pain and toe pain relief. The 1/8″ thick Gel Bunion Shield slips over the great toe of the foot and fits easily in most shoes, including high heels and dress shoes. Also great for runners. A sock or hose holds the Gel Bunion Shield in place. The Gel Bunion Shield is a durable and reusable bunion guard made of long-lasting silicone Visco-GEL®. Hand-wash with mild detergent. Refresh with powder if gel becomes tacky. Latex-free. Universal right/left. Choose Small/Medium for a Tailor’s Bunion, and Large/XLarge for a Hallux Bunion. 1 per pack.

Sizes: Small/Medium used for a Tailor’s Bunion on the 5th toe.

Large/XLarge used on the big toe bunion.

Indications – The Gel Bunion Shield is used in the treatment of bunions.

Foot Care Tip! – Bunion pain results from shoe pressure, poor alignment of the big toe, or both. The Gel Bunion Shield protects the bunion from shoe pressure but does not re-align the big toe. Many patients who use the Gel Bunion Shield also use other bunion relief products including the Large/Firm Toe Separator to re-align the big toe.
